·梯形图逻辑中可以实现高级的功能块指令，可以使用户用简单的编程方法实现复杂的软件功能;

·诊断和错误检测功能从简单的系统控制器的故障诊断扩大到对所控制的机器和设备的过程和设备诊断;

·浮点算术可以进行控制应用中计量、平衡和统计等所牵涉的复杂计算;

·数据处理指令得到简化和改进, 可以进行涉及大量数据存储、跟踪和存取的复杂控制和数据采集和处理功能。

Floating-point arithmetic can perform complex calculations involved in measurement, balance and statistics in control applications;

Data processing instructions have been simplified and improved, and complex control and data acquisition and processing functions involving a large number of data storage, tracking and access can be carried out.
