The Allen-Bradley MPL-A330P-MK22AA is part of the Kinetix MPL family of servo motors. The servo motor has a low inertia output and is designed for applications such as packaging, processing, material handling, electronic assembly and automation. The servo motor is designed for high torque output according to its physical size and is equipped with smart motor technology where the driver identity can be easily identified in the network. The servo motor has no shaft seal by default and meets the IP50 protection level. Install the appropriate shaft seals, especially MPL-SSN-A3B3, to meet the IP66 protection class as long as they are used with environmentally sealed cables and connectors.

The shaft seal plays an important role in keeping the motor running because it prevents process liquids or materials from entering the core of the motor. This shaft seal is subject to wear and loss of protection over time. It needs to be replaced every 3 months, with a minimum of every 12 months.
