The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1756-A7 chassis is a small, compact chassis built specifically for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems. The case is one of the smallest ControlLogix cases on the market, with only 2 mounting tabs on the top and 2 mounting tabs on the bottom. The 1756-A7 chassis can be installed with or without 2 SEM screws, but if it is installed without SEM screws, then 2 star washers are required in addition to 2 flat washers and 2 split lock washers. In addition, if the case does not have SEM screws, four Phillips screws are required, but if used with SEM screws, only two Phillips screws are required. The 1756-A7 chassis is an open device with no protective housing.
