The IC670MDL641 module is a field control module for use with programmable logic controllers for industrial use. Designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc, the unit is compatible with the following modules: the IC670, IC670MD and IC670MDL modules. All inputs on this unit can be adjusted to operate using either positive or negative logic. The IC670MDL641 field control module operates in the input voltage range of 0 to 60 volts DC and is rated at 48 volts DC. The field control unit has 16 inputs available and the user input current is 2.5 mA per point. The isolation voltage of the unit is 250 volts (continuous) and 1500 volts for 1 minute. The points in the group are not isolated from each other. The maximum current consumption of the power supply for the bus interface unit is 83 MA.

The IC670MDL641 Field control module has LED indicators for output point status updates as well as field and backplane power status updates. In terms of input characteristics, the IC670MDL641 module has an input impedance of 10K, a response time (on-state) of 6 milliseconds (typical value), and a maximum of 10 milliseconds.
